U.S. Thanksgiving Book Picks

With U.S. Thanksgiving only two days away (in Canada we already had Thanksgiving in October), consider picking up these books from your local library or favourite book store:

• Arthur's Thanksgiving - What will Arthur do?  As director of his school's Thanksgiving play, he is responsible for finding someone to play the turkey, but no one wants to wear the turkey suit.  Your kids will love the surprise ending.

• What is Thanksgiving?  -  This picture book for ages 2 to 5 teaches children about Thanksgiving in rhyming verse.

• Fancy Nancy: Our Thanksgiving Banquet - Join Fancy Nancy and her family as they celebrate Thanksgiving at her grandparents' house. 

• Happy Thanksgiving, Curious George - Curious George has a Thanksgiving adventure in this colourful tabbed board book for toddlers.
