*Cuteness Alert!*
"Chi's Sweet Home" is the perfect manga for reading with your child, especially if you are a cat lover. Vivid colour illustrations tell most of the story, making the book more accessible to younger children than other manga.
The series follows the adventures of an adorable kitten who gets lost when out for a stroll with her mother and siblings. A little boys find her, but there is just one problem - his family lives in an apartment building that does not allow pets.
Each manga is comprised of mini-episodes told from the kitten's perspetive, in which she learns more about the world around her. Even simple things like figuring out how to use the litter box becomes a grand adventure.
The stories are full of humor, and Konami Kanata perfectly captures what a cat lover might suspect goes on inside of the mind of their own beloved cat.
I can't resist giving this manga series four and a half out of five meows.
